Welcome to John’s Mind. It’s a fun and terrible place full of ever-evolving contradictions.

This is a space for all the various whozawhatits and thingamabobs that cross my perceptual field. It’s a kind of hub for my internet activity which, for the most part, involves music, writing, and podcasts.

I won’t introduce myself much here because, if you found this space, you were probably brought here by some means other than the website itself. If, for some reason, you arrived at this site without following some kind of rabbit hole, well: I’m John Lee Pendall a musician, writer, podcaster and psychology undergrad.

Most of my writing is about Buddhism. Come to think of it, most of my music is also inspired by Buddhism in some way. So, if you aren’t interested in Buddhism, you probably won’t be all that interested in me in general.

I’ve been a lay Buddhist for four years, a musician/composer for 19 years and a writer/storyteller since I was a kid. Wow, 19 freaking years. Time is weird, all wibbly wobbly, timey wimey and stuff.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the random ramblings. May you live at ease and be free of suffering.

  1. “no reason you should care about me, … but … uh ….” LMAO

I care about you a great deal. In fact, I care about you about as much as a person can care for another. Uh.

I really like the name Outer Way. It’s got a thusness about it; it’s liminal. Good for you, Mr. Pendall. Hugs.
